Biodiversity Unit 1: Planting an Idea (SEED Resource)

Description: Students will learn the importance of native flora in their school, the mathematics of planning a planting, as well as knowledge on ecosystems. Species relate to Alpine, Indigo and Wangaratta local government areas. Remember to download the accompanying Plant Information Sheets.

Biodiversity Unit 2: Barking up the Right tree (SEED Resource)

Description: Students will learn about ecosystems and relationships between organisms. Unit focuses on the endangered Barking Owl found in North East Victoria. The food web activity cards related to this unit will be uploaded very soon

Description: These food web cards are part of Biodiversity Unit 2: Barking up the Right Tree. These cards are currently being reviewed for their indigenous content and will be uploaded onto the SEED website by mid November 09

Description: This unit can be delivered in conjunction with Unit 3 ‘Understanding Salt’ or independently. Students are introduced to the causes, processes, and impacts of dryland salinity in our landscape.
