Bright community rallies against rubbish after platypus killed by litter

In case you were wondering why we in North East Victoria, so far from oceans, need to be just as vigilant as coastal residents about litter, check out this article (published in 'The Chronicle') about the Bright community's actions after finding platypus deeply affected by our litter in our creeks and rivers.  Good on you Bright for taking action.  Let's all help ensure the litter doesn't get there in the first place.

Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grant

Grants up to $5000 closing 20th July 2018

The Victorian Government has announced funding of up to $400,000 for the Victorian Junior Landcare and Biodiversity Grants, a new grants program that opened on Thursday 31 May.

These grants offer funding for projects that seek to involve and educate young Victorians in valuing and actively caring for our natural environment.

National Tree Day - Wangaratta
