World Environment Day Idea

The Corroboree Frog is one of the most endangered frogs in the world and less than 50 wild specimens are believed to exist in the Kosciusko National Park.  This tiny alpine frog that lives so close to us is seriously on the brink of extinction and without human intervention it will cease to exist.  For World Environment Day of 5th June we are giving  your school the opportunity to raise awareness and some much needed funds for the Southern Corroboree Recovery Project.

Landcare Project Opportunities for Wangaratta schools

The river flats and billabongs north of Park Lane Nursery and Borinya School have recently been granted a $20,000 Landcare Grant to restore and conserve the native flora and fauna of the area. Project partners include the Wangaratta Sustainability Network, Wangaratta Urban Landcare, Galen College, Park Lane Nursery and NECMA.
